Justin and Helene have spent over a decade competing at the highest levels of their disciplines, but most of the people they coach are just trying to lose weight, move better, build real strength, and take control of their health. That experience under real competition pressure shapes every program, whether the goal is a national qualifying total or simply feeling stronger and more capable day to day. Whatever brought you in the door, the approach is the same: technique first, consistency second, and a coach who's actually done the work themselves.

Justin's career started early: WPC World Junior Champion in 2016, before going on to break the Canadian record as a senior lifter. From a national champion cyclist to the top of the world rankings, his approach centers on technical precision, patient progression, and treating recovery as seriously as the lifts themselves.

He's spent over a decade on the platform himself, which means programming decisions come from lived experience under the bar, not just theory. A competitive powerlifter with an elite-level bench press and a 1,107.9lb raw total in the 82.5kg class, Helene has also competed on the bodybuilding stage in physique. Her own transformation — a real weight loss journey that reshaped how she trains and coaches — is part of what makes her approach different. She co-founded Team Zottl to bring that same standard of coaching to lifters at every level, not just the platform-tested: technique first, confidence second, numbers third.

Helene's own path — through physique competition, real body transformation, and into elite powerlifting — gives her a different lens on coaching than someone who's only ever known one discipline. She understands what it's like to start over, to rebuild a relationship with training, and to chase a number on the platform while juggling everything else life throws at you. That experience shapes how she coaches: direct, encouraging, and genuinely invested in the person behind the lifts, not just the totals.

Remote coaching from Justin & Helene — built around fast feedback, not generic templates. Submit your training videos and get real form corrections back quickly, not days later when the window to fix it has passed. Every program is adjusted to your actual limitations, injury history, and goals — what works for one lifter's hips, schedule, or recovery capacity isn't going to be copy-pasted onto yours.

We've coached people who walked into a gym for the first time in their lives, right alongside elite competitive athletes — and everyone in between. That includes Maxime Boudreault, who placed 5th at World's Strongest Man under our coaching; Makenzy Canham, 3x Canada's Strongest Teen; and Sam Belliveau, who won two of her Canada's Strongest Woman titles during our coaching.
